| ANNOUNCEMENTS |
| 1. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been forced to change our telephone number. Please make a note of the new number, (530) 872-7310 2. Please get ready for the first semester reporting requirements. You will need to submit your grades and attendance for the first semester during the first week of February. We thank all of you in advance for reporting promptly! 3. We would like to remind everyone to please take note of our office hours, which are Monday through Friday from 2p.m.-6p.m. Please refer to these office hours when calling about routine school business. While we take your questions and school business seriously and enjoy being in contact with our families, we are experiencing the need to enforce our office hours at this time to allow us to maximize our own teaching and family time, and to avoid abuses of our willingness to answer the phone. We hope that this announcement will put a stop to some issues we have been facing, such as routine business calls after 9p.m., when our children are asleep, and calls that interrupt our own children's lessons. Please remember that we are ALWAYS available for EMERGENCIES, such as a negative contact from a government or school official, or for new enrollments where immediate action is required, such as a school situation that is dangerous or damaging to the child. In those cases, please feel free to call ANY TIME, day or night. Thank you in advance for your understanding! 4. We are sometimes away from the phone temporarily, even during our business hours. If this is the case, please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Keep in mind that, while we try to return all phone calls the same day, we may have to return your call the next business day. If you do not receive a call the same day, it may be because we were dealing with an emergency or other urgent situation. Thank you for your patience. 5. PLEASE be well prepared if you are planning to make changes to your child's educational plans, such as a move, change of school, etc., or if you will be needing proof of enrollment or grades at a certain time for government programs, etc. We will no longer be dropping everything to prepare transcripts or other paperwork on a moments notice, so please be prepared and send in notice and documentation accordingly. We require written notice 30 days in advance if you plan to move your student to another school, and all applicable documentation needs to be included at that time. These documents do not just appear- they have to be created, and require documentation to ensure their accuracy. If you require rush service, please submit your written notice, documentation, and a check or money order in the amount of $30.00 and note that you require rush service, and we will provide the needed documentation within 7 business days. We don't want to be harsh, but this has become a huge problem. Transcripts and grade reports do not just materialize over night. It takes time to prepare and mail these documents. Please give us the time we need to do the work right. |
