Curriculum Selection
We know that selecting curriculum from the vast resources
available can be a daunting task. While we encourage
parents to choose a customized curriculum for each of their
children, we do offer curriculum selection services as
needed.
Placement Testing
Not sure where your child is in reading or math? We offer
placement testing services to help determine where they
are, and where you need to start. Tests are provided by the
school, administered by the parent, then sent back to the
school for review.
Lesson Planning
Need help to stay on track and keep your homeschool
moving? We are available to assist you in planning lessons
on a monthly basis and review your progress as you move
through the school year. This service is available on a short
term or long term basis, as needed by the parent.
Portfolio Maintenance and Sample Selection
Want to be sure that your kids have great portfolios, but not
sure where you would keep them or what to put in them?
Cold River Academy can select items for their portfolios and
store them for you until they are needed.
Mentoring
Need regular contact with a supervising teacher? Mentoring
is available by phone or email anywhere in the world, and
home visits are available in a limited area.
